As the shopping destination of shopping destinations, Tokyo‘s retail landscape is as diverse as it is expansive, and that also counts for fashion’s upper echelon. Needless to say, The Row has a prominent presence here with a standalone boutique at the GINZA SIX shopping centre, but the New York City-based fashion brand has also been one of the chosen few with a shop-in-shop at fashion emporium extraordinaire Dover Street Market Ginza. As of late, the setting of The Row‘s shop-in-shop on the fifth floor has been given a makeover, and obviously, it’s one that’s fully aligned with the brand’s understated brand aesthetics. Taking centre stage is a staircase of timber and metal by Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier (1877-1965) which is paired with stacked wooden boxes which were used as props for the runway show of the brand’s A/W 2019 Collection. The Row‘s shop-in-shop stocks the brand’s N/S Park tote in different sizes, and both the Fisherman and Ginza sandals.
