We’ve only just started to adjust to colder climes and dreary rainy weather that often comes with it, but Alexander McQueen has already given us a glimpse of how unapologetically stylish, fun, and let’s not forget glamorous, the coming Spring/Summer season will be. The London-based fashion house has revealed a collection of seasonal eyewear that’s inspired by an empowering vision of modern sophistication while it also referencing the house’s well-known contemporary edge and British punk iconography. New temples feature a singular split cut that lends dynamic refinement to the look. An exaggerated sun mask design evokes the house’s gothic spirit, featuring a skeleton substructure enriched with the 3D skull as a symbol of strength and attitude. A more youthful, casual twist comes through the graphic appeal of the Alexander McQueen graffiti signature on thick acetate frames. Shown here are two models from the collection that we really like.
