As part of its B Series, an ever-expanding collection of special edition items by creative director Riccardo Tisci, London-based fashion house Burberry has released a limited edition electric motorcycle. Created in collaboration with French motorcycle manufacturer DAB Motors, the Concept-E RS Burberry Edition marks a new turning point between luxury and sustainability. The motorcycle is available in metallic grey and midnight blue, and features a bodywork adorned with a Burberry custom logo, a customisable handlebar and a TB monogram saddle hand-sewn from exceptional leather. This model is the very first homologated version of the electric concept motorcycle from the French manufacturer. True to Burberry‘s commitment, this edition is part of the brand’s desire to innovate, to discover new horizons and to go beyond our own limits by ever more sustainable means. The motorcycle was developed and designed from scratch at the DAB Motors plant in Bayonne, according to a model of sustainable manufacturing and a more responsible use of available resources. The Concept-E RS Burberry Edition comes in a limited edition 0f only 20, and is available at select Burberry flagship stores (see below) across the planet, but can also be ordered online.

Publishers Note
Just to be clear – superfuture® is a design blog and not a political commentator. No surprise there. The scope of our content has always been global and borderless, however that can often mean covering projects in countries where we will not agree with the politics or actions of those countries. In a world that’s as screwed up as ever right now, the focus of our support is to those designers, architects and other creatives who aim to make the world a more liveable one – as opposed to people that try their hardest to destroy it. So if a project hits our desk and we like it based on its design credentials, we may choose to publish regardless of its location or creators nationality. superfuture® has always been inclusive and hopes for all current wars, aggression, violence, hate and extremism to end.
