rag & bone is at it again with a fresh retail endeavour, and this time, the fashion brand is luring New York City‘s savvy demographic of shoppers with an engaging pop-up store at Barneys at Saks on the fifth floor of Saks Fifth Avenue. Created by the company’s in-house design team, the setting is inspired by military aesthetic and airy fabric of the Rudy Nylon Liner and Long Puffer, two items from rag & bone‘s A/W 2021 Collection, and sees an inflatable canopy that frames the raw wood exterior walls and brushed steel fixtures. A custom screen streaming outdoor landscapes is projected on the base of the pop-up, with an adjacent mirrored wall and ceiling to create the optical illusion of standing in a never-ending forest. So, what’s in store at the rag & bone pop-up? Versatile outerwear is the focal point of the pop-up with the Rudy Nylon Liner and Long Puffer merchandised in clear formation. As said, it’s crafted from a soft, lightweight nylon, and both the Rudy Nylon Liner and Long Puffer are filled with down for added warmth and feature signature prym snaps and welt pockets. An accessories wall with cold weather essential wool scarves, ponchos and beanies run parallel to the exterior space. A curated selection of men’s outerwear and wood plinths highlighting the new footwear styles such as the Shiloh Sport Boot, a lug sole pull on boot in a water-resistant recycled stretch fabric, complete the space. On Sat – Oct 9 (1pm-5pm), Saffron Flowers will be stationed at the pop-up creating fresh bouquets of fall flowers with a purchase (open through Oct 18).
