Dior is on a roll, launching pop-up stores across the planet dedicated to the A/W 2021 Men’s Collection which features designs on which creative director Kim Jones collaborated with iconic painter Kenny Scharf. Needless to say, one of the luxury brand’s ephemeral stores has opened in Tokyo, at Miyashita Park to be precise, currently the preferred high-end men’s fashion shopping destination of the city’s most discerning youth. The arrival of the Dior pop-up store is marked by Scharf’s playful pop  characters decorating the shopping centre’s rooftop, but also the shop itself is adorned by life-size models and a bold infusion of acid colours similarly to pieces of the aforementioned collection. The store also stocks a range of special items, including a tailored jacket decorated with a moiré ribbon, a special fabric which also colours coats and bomber jackets, an embroidered soft saddle bag, the Oblique Jacquard roller bag, and B2 sneakers (open through Jun 6). Other Dior pop-up stores have opened in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, SeoulLondon and Vancouver.
