Who doesn’t love a good latte? Chances are you’ll have to venture out to get one, but the peeps behind hyie – it’s simply pronounced as ‘hi’ –anticipated the busy lifestyle of many an urbanite, offering a a concise series of latte concoctions to make in the comfort of your own home. The hyie team consists of food lovers and food entrepreneurs based in London, but found themselves in the safe heaven of Taipei during the COVID-19 outbreak. Unable to fly back to the British capital, and having fallen in love with both the city and Taiwan, they decided to stay put and set up a studio with the vision of sourcing high-quality ingredients from around the planet and create inspiring products for a global audience. The first result is a series of city-inspired lattes as the brand is very much inspired by travel and a global lifestyle. Comprising of Tokyo, Paris, Bangkok and Taipei, each latte blend has a different flavour and is full of plant-based quality ingredients which are naturally rich in antioxidants and micronutrients. Simply add your favourite milk or plant-based milk, hot or cold. Needless to say, hyie ships worldwide, and it’s even free for orders over USD 90.
