Audio technology company IRIS has launched its nifty Flow headphones. Founded by British financier-turned tech entrepreneur Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, the compamy aims to change the audio game by presenting audio as you’d experience it in a live environment. As such, IRIS not only creates dramatically improved, immersive audio, but also uniquely engages the brain to create active listening through neurological stimulation. Mind you, the hi-tech within IRIS Flow Headphones has been scientifically proven to activate the so-called flow state, a neurological mindset of complete focus whilst simultaneously being relaxed and engaged. This is achieved through a proprietary algorithm which splits out and increases the phase information sent to the brain.

The listener’s brain then reassembles this vast increase in information and becomes far more active in the listening process. The IRIS Flow Headphones will retail at USD 399 / GBP 379 (with an exclusive launch price of USD 349/ GBP 275) and are the very first headphones to have IRIS technology built in. IRIS Flow Headphones work with any type of audio, with the click of a switch a listener can enable the IRIS technology when listening to music on the likes of Spotify and Apple Music, podcasts, audio books and video on Netflix. They are also one of the few headphone products to use beryllium drivers to create the best possible listening experience and set a new standard in personal audio. The headphones are available in two colours, black and white, via Indiegogo and will ship from September 2020. The key product features include:
