Niche fragrance brand Le Labo has stepped up its presence in Moscow. Previously represented with branded corners at Tsvetnoy Central Market and Tsum, two of the city’s leading department stores, but as of late, a standalone boutique has bowed smack in the middle of town. Situated on ultra swanky ulitsa Malaya Bronnaya, the boutique occupies a ground floor unit of a modern structure built in neo-classical style, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Chanel, Giuseppe Zanotti and Agent Provocateur. Designed by Le Labo‘s in-house design team, the premises flaunt a similar wabisabi-inspired aesthetic as all other outposts across the planet, featuring walls with faux glazed bricks, timber flooring and an assortment of furnishings. On one side, a sales counter and storage booth can be found, and on an elevated level, a vintage sink is situated which is used for demonstrations. Contrary to the limited offerings of the aforementioned department store corners, the new Le Labo boutique carries the full range of its coveted fragrances, in addition to scented candles, and products for body, skin and hair. Le Labo has been known to dedicate specific fragrances to fave cities across the planet, including one for the Russian capital, and for a limited time (through Sep 30) all of the previously released city scents will be available here.
