Just a little while ago, Byredo‘s new store in Paris opened its doors on bustling rue St.-Honoré, and now, hot on the heels of that much-publicized launch, an additional pop-up retail space has bowed in the neighbouring Marais district. Dedicated to the brand’s latest olfactory concoction that’s ominously named Eleventh Hour, the retail presentation contrarily adapts to founder Ben Gorham‘s personal appreciation of camping and the outdoors, but also ties in with the name of the new fragrance which expresses his concern with today’s global environmental issues. As such, the compact setting features a clean aesthetic of whitewashed walls lined with simple wooden shelving filled with both Byredo and a curated range of camping merchandise, such as flasks, hiking boots, obviously, and the prerequisite sleeping bags. A communal table with stools, all crafted from matching timber, completes the setting. The Byredo pop-up store will remain open for the next three months.
