probably the only thing worthwhile venturing into sleepy hiroo for are cicada's sumptuous tapas and other tasty bites from around the mediterranean. they also stock an elaborate selection of good wines. contrary to its location in this upscale neighbourhood, it isn't stiff-upper-lip territory but does require you to put aside those downtrodden sneakers just this once.
