13 Bonaparte recently presented Collection 14, its latest take on contemporary men’s style. Artistic director David Sarfati has always been a protagonist of functionality and simplicity in menswear, but still manages to tweak his largely classic silhouettes and come up with a fresh and versatile style that resonates well with savvy urban males. Sarfati’s Collection 14 obviously is no exception, featuring a series of looks that play around with dress codes usually associated with masculinity, such as uniforms and sports outfits, and adding a hint of the 1990s along the way. The eye for detail also translates into a matching choice of fabrics and colours, and this arguably best captured by the informal suits, cut in combinations of greys and greens, and made from Italian cool wool. Another fine example is a roomy quilted parka with graphic, reflective piping and a pattern inspired by car headlights, crafted from a new Korean technical fabric with a super-soft touch. The Collection 14 designs come with matching accessories, including caps lined in nylon, detachable fanny packs, sashes with hidden pockets, and backpacks made from black and ivory cotton twill blend in perfectly with the looks. Shown here are our six fav designs. 13 Bonaparte‘s Collection 14 will be available at the brand’s flagship stores in Los Angeles, New York and Paris. If you reside elsewhere, no worries, as the items will also be available online.
