robata style, nouveau japanese cuisine.
mostly japanese, which is always quite reassuring.
swift, friendly, expert.
brick, dark timber, leather booths and an open air kitchen. a pleasant smoked charcoal aroma in the air gives the place an old school tokyo feel. but otherwise an easy going, bistro style layout.

innovative japanese cuisine based on traditional cooking methods, a lot of dishes are prepared robata style over hot charcoal. head chef is from tokyo and whips up some pretty remarkable dishes. don't miss the black cod miso yaki and wagyu rib eye roll. also has a large bar in the front serving up top shelf sake and asian inspired cocktails.
