the menu is outstandingly diverse. singapore black noodles. pad thai. malaysian curry noodles. the vegetarian samosa appetizers are heavenly. they have a very generous, if not comprehensive, wine and cocktail list. some of the dishes are more fusion than authentic, but you can be assured that it's all delicious. i highly recommend the singapore black noodles. you will need to inquire about the non-alcoholic beverages as they do not provide a list of them.

while there isn't always a sam to "play it again", monsoon cafe is the closest thing to crossing casablanca and southeast asia. here, you and your loved one can dine in the romance of a time not so long ago and in a place far, far away within the splendour of a two tier bamboo hideaway amidst the heavy gusts of wind and the waters of the monsoon season. all right. there is no real monsoon coming into town, but the atmosphere is well worth the visit. If you've just missed your flight to penang, this certainly comes close to second best
