men's and women's clothing and accessories from some pretty serious designers: think comme des garcons, dsquared2, martin margiela, marni, stella mccartney, alexander mcqueen, moschino, rick owens, proenza schouler, paul smith, dries van norten, viktor & rolf, yohji yamamoto and more. nars, commes des gracons, santa maria novella, costume national, stephane marais et al constitute a beauty section. they also carry jewelry, some home decor and operate a cafe.
highland park housewives in-the-know, their college-age daughters and the gay men who work for them. very serious dallas crowd: big hair, big cars, big money. i've seen both angie harmon (law and order) and erykah badu here.
middle-aged women wearing viktor & rolf and miu miu who have rolodexes filled with the names of their loyal costumers. could possibly be standoffish if they don't view you as a potential sale but otherwise very, very helpful and courteous.
housed in a really nice older space with a little courtyard in the middle of the building which sets the cafe off from the store. no blaring music, soft lighting, and little rooms off the main floor filled with anally arranged products.

with the faint promise of seeing jessica simpson in those daisy dukes representing the best reason to spend time in dallas nowadays, it's clear that the city is nowhere near superfuture. however, if you believe that the way to stay sane in big d is by maxing out your parents' credit cards buying clothes, then forty five ten is essential.
