not exactly the place where one runs into the canal district's hipster demographic as this place pulls a much older crowd. we suggest you bring your mp3-player and headphones if you like it funky.

the restaurant is located in the carriage house of a rather grand historic 18th-century mansion. the interior is contemporary and apart from a series of rather ghastly wall-mounted sculptures it's a nice place. there's a terrace and beautiful garden at the back, perfect for al fresco dining in summer.
