tokyo: the impossible project

polaroid instant film may seem to be going the way of the dodo bird, but the impossible project is doing what it can to stave it off from extinction. the austria-born project is a traveling gallery and store, and it opened the impossible project, featuring an exhibition of 'instant' works by rock-shockers daido moriyama and araki nobuyoshi. the pared-down concrete space direction was done by designer ryujiro tamaki of japanese minimalistic menswear brand public image [on until dec 25]. location: 1-20-5 aobadai [naka meguro]. © the impossible project
