tokyo: dream concerts art show

artist andré saraiva a.k.a. monsieur a has been a longtime collaborator of the kistuné brand. after a showcase in stockholm, the paris-based artist arrives at the fancy maison kitsuné boutique [1] in tokyo on tue - sep 3 [6pm-9pm] for a brand new exhibition and live performance. called dream concerts art show, it features a quirky installation of ten monumental posters that highlight saraiva’s favourite bands as he envisions what a concert poster would look like if his ideal artists could do a gig together for just one night. mind you, the posters are actually painted by hand on ten original japanese canvases, and they've been reproduced in limited edition printed posters, using a special japanese printing process called kaleido that increases the value of colour. additionally, a series of special commemorative items such as totes and t-shirts have been created for saraiva's die-hard fans. and speaking of which: that very same evening [9pm-late] an after party will be held at le baron [2] and it looks like the parisian multi-tasker will spin some beats. location [1]: 3-15-13 minami-aoyama [aoyama]. location [2]: 3-8-40 minami-aoyama [gaienmae].
