dom pérignon kicked off a series of artsy events in tokyo earlier this year that alligns the renowned french house of bubbles with sophisticated creativity and some of japan's coolest artists and brands. last week the third edition of the dark night limited gallery series was held for one night only at idol, one of the japanese capital's edgiest concept stores of late. this time kyoto-based artist wataru komachi, known for his edgy works in various fields such as art, fashion and product design, was invited to create a site-specific installation inspired by dom pérignon's history and vision. additionally, the artist performed alongside a spiritual and chill-out sound installation at the venue. location: 5-9-6-b1 minami-aoyama [aoyama].
