a popular hang-out of sydney's inner-city gourmets, three williams has established a name for itself with a menu of irresistible bites. served in a unique and slightly underground industrial space, owners glen bowditch and toby iaccarino put an artistic spin on their gastronomic operations by teaming up with australian contemporary artist brad robson . known for his signature squeegee technique and exuberant style, robson was asked to create a body of work for three williams, and the result now adorns the walls of the café. on display are a series of oversize oil paintings, all lit by specially installed led downlights that bring the works to life. the works will be on display for the next six weeks. and yes, if you fancy one, just ask the waiter to add it to your check. location: 613a elizabeth street [redfern].
