an interesting three-day group exhibition opens today [5pm-10pm] in são paulo. dubbed forças invisíveis [projeto rabbit] and curated by ricardo gaioso and camilla d'anunziata, this off-gallery show is held in a spacious residential building in the city's leafy jardins area. it's an experiment of sorts as to view, experience and interpret contemporary art outside the usual gallery context while also being an indication of the energy and drive of today's young global creative community. this richly varied showcase features works by a slew of young artists from both brazil and around the planet, and ranges from photography and installations, to paintings and video works. participating artists include rafael santacosta, nio tatewaki, mateus bailon, beatriz chachamovits and felipe nuno [on through dec 18]. location: rua bela cintra 2006 [jardins].
