amanresorts, superfuture's preferred purveyor of exclusive hideaway spots, knows how to tickle our senses. added to its fleet at the amanwana resort on pulau moyo, is a new star vessel: the amanikan. this 32-meter custom-built coastal cruiser fuses the romance of spice trading vessels and modern amenities, and was recently launched during the 2009 komodo expedition. the amanikan features three above-deck cabins, a foredeck with an outdoor dining and bar area plus dive facilities. additionally, an expansive master cabin sits at the stern of the upper deck, offering a large private sun deck and spectacular views. the second double cabin on the main deck features the very same views from both inside the cabin and from a second private balcony with built-in daybed. both airconditioned cabins have en-suite bathrooms with double vanities, double wardrobes, showers and separate toilets. a third smaller airconditioned cabin on the main deck is also available with a semi-private sun deck in front of the wheelhouse. the place to mingle for pre-dinner drinks or daytime sunbathing is the principal lounge space in the bow of the cruiser. mind you, it's even suitable for a sleepy night under the stars.
