on display are a series of extraordinary and delicate portrayals of, very literally, the light beyond darkness. mushenko’s work examines the release into something beyond, capturing abstract colour field images that hint at a vision for the future, one that he romantically envisions is based on desires and longing for what we don’t have. longing is the quiet drama present in each photograph, created without a lens. the images are created by direct imaging onto the sensitive material [both film and digital sensors were used], and minimal post production was done to create them after capturing [on through jan 10]. location: ulica křemencova 176/6 [nové město].
