paris: transversality

opening today at galerie bsl in paris is this year's edition of the venue's transversality exhibition series. dedicated to the middle east, the show once again presents an interestig mix of works edited by gallery, alongside pieces by invited designers and producers from the region. on display are the new tessera series by marc baroud for beirut's carwan gallery, the new auction table and palm line by dubai-based khalid shafar, aluminum lighting pieces by cyrille najjar and luxury vessel collections by gaia & gino brand from istanbul and designed by architect david adjaye and the dk01 magnifying loupe jewellery collection by lebanese designer dina kamal. galerie bsl's new editions comprise of the striking cinetisme I wall cabinet by charles kalpakian in a new blue shade - actually our fav piece of the show - and the three chakra single stem vases by visual artist charlotte cornaton [on through mar 28]. location: 23 rue charlot [marais].
