some/things is a biannual curated project in the form of a magazine. each issue has a conceptual theme and provides insight in the artsy reeling and dealing of its contributors. if you're in paris, then check out tonight's launch party [8pm-10pm] of issue #006 at some/things secret, the magazine's very own headquarters. the new edition boasts a slew of interesting features and contributions, including a look inside fashion designer boris bidjan saberi's buzzing atelier, hideaki uchiyama's surreal depiction of unknown structural spaces in japan, such as nuclear plants, medical labs and flood systems, and an exclusive portrait series of icelandic siren björk by creative duo warren dupreez and nick thornton jones. the party will be spiced up with a video projection of never-before-seen images and exclusive content from the upcoming issue, which will be officially released during art basel's upcoming edition next june. launch location: 16 villa gaudelet [oberkampf].
some/things magazine #006 drops in select stores across the planet later this year, including maxfield [los angeles], assembly [new york], colette [paris], rick owens [hong kong] and the viridi-anne [tokyo].
