the rebranded saint laurent is soaring ahead, and the new retail aesthetics we talked about in a previous post have now finally reached its home base paris in a rather grand form. joining an elite rank of top fashion brands, saint laurent has opened a new flagship on avenue montaigne, arguably the french capital's most prestigious retail address. the store measures a spacious 900 sqm. [9,688 sq.ft.] and has been conceptualized by creative director hedi slimane himself. the art déco-inspired interior features swathes of black and white marble, captured in a clean linear dimensions, and glamourously accentuated by elements in silver, gold and white. the new saint laurent flagship carries the full range of women's and men's collections, and in signals the brand's ambition to regain its place among the planet's top luxury brands. additional saint laurent store openings are scheduled for new york, london and hong kong later this year. simultaneously with the opening a women's accessories campaign was launched, starring danish cult model freja beha erichsen. location: 53 avenue montaigne [champs-élysées].
