doing numerous stints in graphic design, illustration, photography, film and event production, jean-paul goude truly is a visual multitasker. the frenchman initially shot to global fame in the 1980s, creating a bold androgynous image for grace jones. goude also made a series of acclaimed chanel ad campaigns with vanessa paradis a decade later. now 71, his vast and diverse creative output is documented in goudemalion - jean-paul goude a retrospective at the musée des art décoratifs in paris. on display at the show is a vast array of photos, drawings, objects, ad films and music that goude created during his 40-year career [on through mar 18]. location: 107 rue de rivoli [saint-honoré].
