Although already well-established at home base Paris, contemporary fashion brand A.P.C. has expanded its network with yet another stylish boutique dedicated exclusively to womenswear. Occupying the former premises of the Vanessa Seward boutique, a womenswear brand A.P.C. was once affiliated with, it’s a top location in one of the French capital’s leafiest neighbourhoods and exposed to plenty of foot traffic. The interior design, created by French architect and longtime collaborator Laurent Deroo, makes the most of the narrow and  dichotomous space. Upon entering the boutique, shoppers encounter a setting defined by flooring of glazed celadon tiles, whitewashed walls and furnishings and fixtures in untreated timber. A circular display at the centre is clad almost entirely in tiles with a matching green hue, but also embeds cushioned seating at the back, and its shape is mirrored by robust ceiling lamp right above. On one side of the store, the walls are adorned by a band of similar tiles and mirrors, and extending all the way to the back room through a passage with built-in cabinets. When proceeding here, shoppers find an intimate space, featuring timber flooring, felt-covered fitting rooms, a suspended wooden display, window seating and and large mirrors which optically enlarge the space. The new A.P.C. store carries the brand’s full range of women’s apparel, accessories, bags, shoes and small leather goods.
