denham's popularity in the land of the rising sun is steadily growing, and the opening of a second store in osaka - only two years after launching in tokyo's daikanyama area - is indicative of this trend. interestingly, the amsterdam-based denim brand shuns the traditional hipster shopping grounds downtown and has opted instead for namba parks, an upscale megamall + office complex in the south of the city, to set up shop. the store concept is pretty much an extrapolation of the design that can be found at denham's dutch headquarters, featuring museum-grade specimens of workwear in glass cases and vintage props as a backdrop for the label’s own forward offerings while vintage tailor’s scissors welded into innovative fixturing accent its design philosophy within the retail presentation. denham's new store carries the brand's full men's + women's collections plus select seasonal items. location: 2-10-70 nanba naka, 4th floor [nanba].
