part of the 1990s nintendo generation, camille tanoh is a talented young creative who grew up in london and paris. a mixed background of formal and autodidactic training, extensive work experience at some of the planet's leading luxury brands, and last but not least, a keen interest in photography, has resulted in a creative endeavour that's pretty much a new milestone. dubbed the saturday afternoon man shoe, it's a new shoe line that tanoh has crafted in collab with longtime friend and business partner hakan sezer. inspired by observations of leisuring stylish males around the planet, the duo set out to design a shoe that would enable them to effortlessly transition from casual to more formal without compromising their style.
the saturday afternoon man shoe collection is hand-made in portugal from premium materials. loose-fitting yet with firm ankle support, the leather/suede one-hole lace-up design is matched with a durable high-traction crepe sole. the shoes come in a variety of appealing colours and materials, and are currently exclusively available at antonia uomo [milan], excelsior [milan] and tiziana fausti [bergamo]. but if you don't reside in northern italy, no worries. the shoes can now also be ordered online [worldwide delivery].
