we've talked about yoshirotten's recent exhibition in a previous writeup. the tokyo-based creative is a true multi-tasker, dabbling in graphic design, art direction and as a deejay. presented by creative platform gas as interface, the show presented graphic designs that showcase his psychedelic graphic style, visual language and a few of his inspiration sources. yoshirotten is well-connected in the music, fashion and interior design scenes both in tokyo and abroad, and has worked on quite a number of much-publicized projects, from t-shirts designs for fashion brand john lawrence sullivan and lookbook design for silas, to interior design for ace hotel new york. related to this show, gas as interface has also released a dedicated publication, entitled gasbook #28. the book features 64 pages in colour, and can be ordered online for jpy 3,500 [tax excluded]. click here when ordering from outside japan.
