new york: moncler store opening

winters in manhattan get a solid style injection. moncler arrived in town with a big bang, opening up shop in the heart of soho. only the second outlet in the u.s. after launching in aspen in 2008, this store is a true flagship, carrying moncler's entire men's + women's collection. from gamme rouge designed by giambattista valli and gamme bleu designed by thom browne to the grenoble line, it's all here. the new store measures 220 sqm. and is designed by paris-based practice gilles & boissier. the interior is totally in check with the brand's aesthetics and values, featuring an abondance of french boiserie in carved wood with floral motifs in relief, crystal transparencies and pierre bleu stone masonry. new u.s. stores are planned for chicago and boston. location: 90 prince street [soho]. © moncler / moncler store + moncler creative director remo ruffini getting cozy with fashion designer thom browne
