olivia bee is quite a phenomenon. at age 20, her approach of photography is as seasoned and full of depth as someone at least twice her age. a true photography prodigy, bee began to practice the craft at the tender age of 11, sharing her first works on the photo-sharing site flickr. by the time she turned 13, bee had become a photographer. in the few years since, she has photographed for the likes of converse, levi’s and hermès, and her work has already been featured in leading publications such as the new york times, vice, numéro, and harper’s bazaar germany. currently on at the agnès b. galerie boutique in soho is bee's exhibition kids in love. on display are 28 colour and black + white photographs that bee has taken of friends and people she loves and adores, captured through the artist's intimate and personal lens [on through jul 27]. location: 50 howard street [soho].
