new york: forget me-not

we don't embroider much here at superfuture [honestly!] but we do like what's coming up at gallery hanahou. opening fri - feb 6 [6pm-8pm] is forget me-not, a show dedicated to a new generation of embroidery artists who use needle and thread to depict love in broader terms, whether idealized and simple or brutal and complicated. in conjunction with the show there'll be a special valentine embroidery workshop on sat - feb 7 [1pm / limited space: contact gallery]. location: 611 broadway, suite 730 [soho]. © gallery hanahou / photo: orly cogan
