© david zwirner / donald judd his minimalist concepts, sleek aesthetics and last but not least experimental focus have made him one of our fav contemporary artists. we're talking none other than donald judd and his solo show that opens today [6pm-8pm] at david zwirner gallery. on display are 12 identically scaled anodized aluminum works from the artist's seminal 1989 exhibition at the staatliche kunsthalle baden-baden in germany, and comprised of one of his very few explorations of colour on a large scale, using anodized aluminum and thus provide a focused investigation of the key concerns within his practice. the exhibition is held at the gallery's two venues in chelsea [on through jun 25]. locations: 525 + 533 west 19th street [chelsea].
