how time flies when you're on a bike. the bicycle film festival is back in town to celebrate gloriously its 10th anniversary on jun 16-20. ten years ago founder brendt barbur started the event after an accident with a bus in new york city and since then it has launched in 40 cities across the planet, featuring over 600 bike-themed movies, 40 art shows and a lot of cool parties. ofcourse this 10th edition is especially worthwhile checking out. the program includes an interesting mix of movies, including jeff tremaine's birth of big air, benny zenga and lucas brunelle's line of sight and the 1976 classic a sunday in hell by jørgen leth. location: anthology film archives, 32 second avenue [nolita].
