new delhi: india by snowdon

the india by snowdon exhibition and book were launched earlier this month at photoink [until jan 30]. on display are a series of intriguing portraits of prominent indians, ranging from politicians to filmmakers, painters, social activists, writers and others, shot by lord snowdon in their homes and workplaces. these represent some of the best and brightest interventionists of post-independent india, from 1947 to 2000. the eponymous publication, released by steidl, also includes nine essays that focus on the different facets of indian culture and history. location: 1 faiz road [jandhewalan].
