uttering 'ooh' and 'ah' comes naturally when looking at masataka matsumura's designs, and it's no different for the items he crafted for giuliano fujiwara's a/w 2012 men's collection. inspired by the heavy-duty outerwear of canada and its native inuit population, matsumura designed hybrid, slightly oversized silhouettes that fuse inspiration elements with classic styles. the colourt palette is injected by shades beige, camel and brown of the inuit attire, next to classic men's colours and a few dashes of dusty yellow, petrol blue and also red. accessories are classic and functional but with a modern twist, as demonstrated in the new range of work boots, brogues and sneakers. bags feature multiple straps, to enable different ways of carrying, and incorporate a mix of leathers and fabrics.
giuliano fujiwara's a/w 2012 men's collection is available at the brand's own flagships and at select stores across the planet, including seven [new york], concrete [london], podium [moscow], 10 corso como [seoul] and international gallery beams [tokyo].
