melbourne: the feast of trimalchio

opening thu - oct 7 at anna schwartz gallery is the feast of trimalchio, an exhibition by russian collective aes+f. first presented at the 2009 biennale di venezia, the show is an interpretation of satyricon, a story by the roman poet petronius. the rendition of aes+f reflects the blatant consumerism in modern russia and the world, and consist of over 75,000 photographs. the showcase here features a set of three expansive photographic tableaux. location: 185 flinders lane [cbd]. photo: still from the feast of trimalchio
