french artist daniel buren is probably best known for his iconic outdoor installation with striped columns at the palais royal in paris. he was invited by luxembourg's mudam and centre pompidou-metz in metz to create site-specific installations at both venues. the work he created here at mudam intentionally interacts with the museum's architecture by i.m. pei, adding a totally new and colourful dynamic to the grand hall's atrium. as you can see, the result is pretty spectacular [on until may 25]. location: 3 park dräi eechelen [pfaffenthal].
