© prada - the façade of the new store at beverly center is clad in sexy black marble prada understands the retail game like no other, cleverly adapting the look and ambiance of its stores to the local shopping environment. futuristic in tokyo, cool in soho and now, for its second l.a. store at the ritzy beverly center mall, the brand goes full-on glam. the new store, measuring a spacious 2,422 sq.ft., is designed by tuscany-based architect roberto baciocchi, a long-time collaborator of prada. the store is divided into separate sections, each dedicated to a different product range, and separated by floor-to-ceiling mirrors. walls are clad in soft green canvas and prada's signature beige carpet covers the floor. both the men's and women's section feature metal + glass displays and compact sofas, in a pinkish hue for women and in soft brown for men. the store's façade is clad in sexy black italian marble. location: 8500 beverly boulevard, level 7 [beverly hills].
