los angeles: lanvin store opening

© lanvin - the alluring shop façade and men's department [top + bottom] lanvin makes a big splash on the west coast, opening up a lavish 4,520 sq.ft. flagship on rodeo drive, making it one of the brand's biggest on the planet. the store oozes the very same boudoir chic interior as the other branches in new york, las vegas and bal harbour, albeit in a slightly different style. lanvin opted for an interior with an art deco-meets-old hollywood glam ambiance, most notably visible through the antique furniture from that era, custom-made parquet floor and prominently displayed black + white 1930s photographs of lanvin's house models that adorn the walls. unique to this store are walls with a luxe leather look and a spectacular corridor of mirrors that alludes to the grand hall of mirrors at versailles that leads to a space designated for private fittings. lanvin pulled out all the stops to come up with a lavish decorum like this [after all, this is beverly hills...], and it's no surprise that it offers the area's savvy shoppers all of its men's and women's collections. mind you, it's also the first lanvin store in the u.s. that offers male shoppers a made-to-measure suit service. location: 260 north rodeo drive [beverly hills].
