london: practice for everyday life

calvert 22 is the u.k.'s only non-profit arts foundation that focuses on contemporary art from russia and eastern europe. opening today is practice for everyday life, a collab exhibition with moscow's institute of contemporary art, and which presents an interesting selection of emerging russian artists who have all enrolled in the latter's prestigious start artist support program. participating artists include olga bozhko, alexander ditmarov and arseniy zhilyaev [on through may 29]. coinciding with this show, calvert 22 have commissioned architecture practice feilden fowles to refurbish its gallery space. location: 22 calvert avenue [shoreditch].
