london: ln-cc store opening

© ln-cc there's a lot going on at ln-cc. as of today, london's newest style hub opens its doors [by appointment only], revealing a razor-sharp selection of new and archive men's and women's collections, in what is arguably, the city's most adventurous shopping environment. short for late night chameleon café, this is a continuously evolving retail formula featuring themed spaces presenting music, art and books next to fashion. having said that, it has now opened only a part of its 5,000 sq.ft. premises, and full completion is scheduled for early 2011. the store is designed by artist + set designer gary card, and consists of three concept rooms: a book and record store, a music room for private events and a working studio. all three have a different design theme and are linked by a tunnel constructed from raw wood and orange acrylic. a music room will open next year, as well as an exhibition space. the fashion stocked at ln-cc will be top-notch. expect to find a juxtaposition of leading brands and underground labels from across the planet that'll entice the most jaded hipster. click [here] to make an appointment. location: 18 shacklewell lane, the basement [hackney].
