craig oldham is pretty old skool, preferring to communicate with pen and paper in a world that's increasingly infatuated with e-mail, text messages and tweets. that's why he launched hand.written.letter.project and contacted some of the planets leading designers, design studios and creative thinkers to simply share their thoughts in handwritten form on their own letterhead. currently on at kk outlet is an eponymous exhibition, showcasing the amazing response of over 100 letters, and includes correspondence from philippe apeloig, wim crouwel, this is real art, tony brook-spin and ian anderson [on through aug 27]. mind you, a limited edition book of the letters will be available at the gallery with all profits going to the national literary trust. location: 42 hoxton square [shoreditch].
