© royal academy of arts / photography: andy stagg - the rca knows how to put on a spectacular show anyone interested in the psychology of fashion should drop by the royal academy of arts to see aware - art fashion identity, an interesting exhibition which explores how artists and designers use clothing as a mechanism to communicate and reveal elements of our identity. the show is divided into four sections: storytelling, building, belonging + confronting, and performance. each section examines fashion according to a specific scope, and they collectively feature works by 30 leading international artists and fashion designers, including yohji yamamoto, yinka shonibare, hussein chalayan, yoko ono and alexander mcqueen [on until jan 30]. location: burlington house, 6 burlington gardens [mayfair].
