© i.t - the new julius store in hong kong's wyndham street hong kong's wyndham street is fast becoming the city's nucleus of directional fashion brands...if it isn't already. the very latest to open up shop here is julius, the cult men's label from tokyo. the shop measures 774 sq.ft., spread over two levels, and similar to the flagship store in the japanese capital it features an edgy, austere look with white cement floors and white walls that form perfect backdrop for julius' pitch-black collections. the store is quite compact and sparsely furnished to maintain a spacious feel that is further enhanced by clever lighting. interesting design detail is the chunky slab of concrete used as display and another is the striking full-sized mirror with its frame wrapped by black horsehair and bovine leather. an opening party was held at the ritzy g bar, attended by julius designer tatsuro horikawa. location: 16 wyndham street [central].
