luxury retailer joyce has launched the book of love charity program for the coming holiday season. inspired by books and the importance of culture, the charity program consists of three separate projects that aim to inspire joyce shoppers to start writing their very own stories. each enterprise combines the worlds of art, fashion and food, while raising funds for non-profit organization bring me a book, which helps enrich the lives of others through books. joyce commissioned paris-based artist duo frédérique morrel to create 30 one-of-a kind handmade book clutches exclusively for the retailer, featuring their signature tapestry prints. and speaking of the city of light, joyce also brings a tasty chunk of paris to hong kong with a specially designed pop-up shop featuring the creations of haute patisserie hugo & victor at all four boutiques. part of the profit from the sales of the book clutches and french chocolates will be donated to bring me a book. and last but not least, the luxury retailer has pulled some strings and has enlisted its stable of top designers to contribute to the project. twelve renowned creatives have donated signed copies of their fav books and from their own libraries, including rick owens, raf simons, juun.j, neil barrett and damir doma. view and bid on the book of love collection online or at joyce and affiliated stores. bidding starts at hkd 1,000 and can be done from now until dec 15. all proceeds will go to bring me a book. the book of love charity program as a whole runs through dec 25.
