red wing relaunches the 875 and 877, arguably its two most iconic styles. the quality and look of the designs have earned these boots a solid reputation and use that gradually transfered from the traditional gritty workplace to urban men's style territory, both in the u.s. and far beyond. red wing heritage now adds a new chapter by re-releasing the aforementioned styles in an archival oro legacy leather from thirty years earlier. these new boots harken back to an early and significant design from the 875 and 877’s history. over the years, the leather used to make the 875 and 877 has evolved and changed over time, and this relaunch marks a return to the more historically important and pure design from the red wing archives.
the two relaunched models are crafted from oro legacy, a supple and classic full-grain leather which has been tanned by using traditional methods at red wing's very own tanning facility. mind you, no pigment has been used during the finishing process, emphasizing the natural beauty and colour of the leather. fancy a pair? these trophy boots are now available at red wing stores and select depositories across the planet, including unionmade [los angeles], flying a [new york], detail soho [london], burg & schild [berlin] and face to face [tokyo].
