hello people, we've got news from the shades innovator! we're talking mykita's mylon s/s 2012 collection. the berlin-based brand heavily invested in the development of a new award-winning material that's light-weight, has personal adaptability and last but not least offers design options galore: mylon. the first mykita mylon collection marks the launch of a luxury sports fashion line, a new eyewear segment for the brand and one that'll further redefine and merge the aesthetics and functionalities of sports and fashion design. mykita's mylon s/s 2012 collection consists of seven styles [three shown here] in a variety of colours, ranging from sunshine to storm, pitch, peat and cinnabar.
the most striking style is the nova with its front shield and top line which hugs the head as if it were a headband. its aesthetics are a mix of vintage ski goggles and a 1990s 3d viewer. the arden and icco styles are modern takes on the classic aviator with rounded-off contours and a stylishly contrasting vertical or trapezoidal bridge. catering to a growing hipster golfer crowd, mykita has developed two special golf lenses in collab with zeiss. all models can also be ordered with polarising lenses that minimize reflections. mykita's mylon s/s 2012 collection is now available at the brand's flagships and select stores across the planet.
