lanvin nails it again. we're talking the french luxury brand's a/w 2012 ad campaign, for which an active search was conducted in the global blogosphere, creative director alber elbaz and top fashion photographer steven meisel cherry-picked one-time models aged 18 to 81 for a glam fashion shoot and a witty behind-the-scenes film. the camera reveals little anecdotes told by each character, giving viewers a rare glimpse of their personality. so, you'll discover a former cabaret dancer who dreams of going to paris, a cell phone addict, a woman who collects salt and pepper shakers, a lover of frozen blueberries, and so on. this campaign celebrates elbaz’s ten years at the helm of lanvin. by lifting the veil on anonymous personalities, the french capital's oldest fashion house takes couture off the runway and brings it to the street. the garments are worn by real people, young and old, from different backgrounds and with unique personalities. mind you, lanvin's special happy 10 anniversary bag appears in each shot.
